Introducing Cloud Collaboration

Dear dhuh,

We are always looking for ways to help you manage your infrastructure in the cloud more easily. Introducing Access Control Policies (ACLs or short). They are free and user friendly. Now you can share infrastructure with your colleagues simply and securely.

Next time you login to your account you'll see a new ACLs section in the webapp:

Using them is a simple three step process. All you need to do is create tags, tag the resources you want to share and then share those resources with an ACL.

For example you might be collaborating with an external contractor who needs access to some infrastructure within your account, simply tag those resources, decide what actions you want to authorise (start stop server, edit, open VNC etc) and then add the external contractor's CloudSigma account details to the policy. It's that easy, the shared resources will automatically appear in their account.

We hope you find this new functionality useful, it's designed to allow seamless collaboration between colleagues in a secure and easy to manage way. You can find out more detailed instructions on how to use ACLs on our blog.
