How developers use AWS to run containerized applications

Amazon EC2 Container Service makes it easy to manage containers

AWS Helps You Build Containerized Applications

Containers provide a consistent, portable software environment for applications to easily run and scale anywhere, but managing more than a few containers in production can be a difficult challenge.

That's why we created Amazon EC2 Container Service (Amazon ECS). With Amazon ECS, you don't have to install or operate your own container orchestration software and can take advantage of deep integrations with other AWS services to run containerized applications like microservices, batch processing, and machine learning.

Customer Use Case

Nextdoor uses Amazon ECS to achieve a 10x reduction in their microservices build and deployment times for more than 135,000 private neighborhood social networks, allowing them to add over 100 new networks per day.
